2011 Komen Connecticut Ride for the Cure

This year we have again proudly accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the 2011 Komen Connecticut Ride for the Cure on October 2rd and to join the fight to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

Last year, Blackhorse was awarded 1st place for team participation and, according to the organizers, we “wrote the book” on creating a team (see the article from “Horseman’s Yankee Pedlar” hanging in our viewing room).

With the deadline for donations fast approaching, the team has been actively soliciting pledges. Please visit the KomenCT website (link is below) and consider making a donation to a rider or a team of your choice – it’s a worthy cause and some of the riders have made creative individual pages giving their experiences or their reasons for participating.
